Delta Kappa Epsilon
Delta Kappa Epsilon was founded at Yale University in 1844 and is one of the oldest and most distinguished fraternities in North America. Known as “Deke,” the fraternity is built around its three defining qualities: Gentlemen, Scholars, and Jolly Good Fellows. These principles have shaped the DKE experience for more than 180 years, emphasizing character, intellectual growth, leadership, personal development, and lifelong brotherhood. Members are encouraged to pursue academic and professional excellence while developing the skills and values needed to become leaders in their communities and careers. With a strong alumni network and chapters across North America, DKE provides its members with meaningful friendships, leadership opportunities, and connections that extend well beyond the college experience, continuing its tradition of developing well-rounded men who carry the values of DKE throughout their lives.
