Beta Theta Pi

Beta Theta Pi was founded at Miami University in 1839 with a mission to develop Men of Principle for a Principled Life. At Louisiana State University, the Theta Kappa Chapter was officially chartered in 2025 after years of growth and dedication from its members. Beta is built around five core values: Mutual Assistance, Intellectual Growth, Trust, Responsible Conduct, and Integrity. These principles guide members as they pursue academic and professional success, develop as leaders, serve their communities, and build lifelong friendships and brotherhood. With more than 180 years of history and a network of nearly 140,000 living alumni, Beta Theta Pi offers its members an experience centered on personal growth, meaningful brotherhood, and preparing men to lead principled lives.
